After 36 days of protests, the Cockroach Janta Party (CJP) officially called off its agitation at Delhi's Jantar Mantar following talks with the government. The announcement was followed by celebrations with gulal, a two-minute silent tribute and the singing of the national anthem. Addressing the gathering, CJP leader Ashutosh Ranka said the government had accepted the party's demands and appealed to protesters to peacefully leave the protest sites and return home.
