Chico & The Gypsies - Todos Olé

Chico & The Gypsies is a French musical formation of rumba Catalana, flamenco and latin-pop tunes led by Chico Bouchikhi who was one of the founders of the Gipsy Kings. Chico was born in Arles to a Moroccan father and an Algerian mother, he is married to the daughter of José Reyes. After he left the Gypsy Kings for differences with the band, he formed Chico & the Gypsies. In 2012, Chico & the Gypsies celebrated twenty years' annivarsary. Although group members were born in France, their parents (except Chico) were mostly Spanish gypsies who fled Catalonia during the 1930s Spanish Civil War. They are known for bringing Catalan rumba, a pop-oriented music distantly derived from traditional flamenco music to worldwide audiences.
