The metal inlays and the knobs were made from a rail and as cool as it sounds it was in need of a modern makeover. I removed the skirting and the back and used the wood to make new doors. I sanded the entire buffet and gave it a coat of orange scented wax plus new modern metal legs. Mew brass pulls finished it off and it looks better than ever. Incredible wood grain enhanced by the nursing bees wax.
