North Maluku Governor Sherly kicked off 2026 with a series of important and meaningful activities. The activities began with the first roll call of 2026 held at the Governor's Office in Sofifi, followed by an inaugural meeting with North Maluku Provincial Government civil servants (ASN) to strengthen their commitment to work and public service. On the same occasion, Governor Sherly also officially launched the Action for Change program, as part of efforts to improve government performance and regional development. Following the activities in Sofifi, Governor Sherly continued her working visit to Jailolo, West Halmahera Regency, to directly inspect the condition of uninhabitable houses, demonstrating the government's concern for the community's well-being. The trip then continued to Ibu District, West Halmahera, to attend and participate in the National Christmas Celebration. The Governor's presence was greeted with enthusiasm and warmth by the local community, reflecting togetherness, tolerance, and a spirit of brotherhood. This activity affirmed Governor Sherly's commitment to being directly present among the community, listening to the people's aspirations, and building a more advanced, just, and prosperous North Maluku.
