Solus moves through every scene with unsettling deliberate grace and his hands are the weapon, fingertips extending into blades of dark energy when the living metal robes shift around him. Jake Gyllenhaal plays Cole Turner, field operative and reluctant hero, a glowing blue shard embedded in his left forearm connecting him to Solus's power in ways the tactical jacket and pulse rifle on his back were never designed to handle. Megan Fox plays Zara Voss with ancient Cybertronian symbols burned into her collarbone and a holographic data gauntlet and the double agent's particular skill of being the most dangerous person in any room while appearing to be working for whoever is currently in charge. Optimus Prime stands thirty feet of battle-damaged blue and red chrome with icy blue eyes and Bumblebee runs lean and fast beside him while Megatron rises in gunmetal grey and Megatron Alpha, resurrected by Solus's power at forty-five feet of ancient black and crimson armor, makes everything else feel undersized. Grimlock tears through the battlefield as a sixty-foot mechanical T-Rex. Skarathos spreads a ninety-foot wingspan of volcanic black and copper and breathes superheated plasma across everything in range. The Terrorcon Leviathan moves through darkness on cable whip tentacles with the cold white eyes of dead stars. Solus raises his hands and the world remembers who built all of it. Ten to twelve hours on this one. Coordinating five distinct Transformer factions and two human leads against a villain operating at godlike scale took serious structural work. Multiple tools, multiple full passes. Every hydraulic joint and every Cybertronian rune earned its place.
