David, from our support team, crafted a pocket dart box that he is not entirely happy with. With Todd's help, they work to make it better using some of David's ideas and leveraging the work he has already done. Tons of tips, tricks and opinions are shared and the results are not only functional and personalized but ready for you to make it your own! A lot of the time, a complicated looking project can be broken down into a nice design and minimal toolpath strategies. In this case, a few accurate but simple vectors and the use of the pocket and profile toolpaths take center stage. The design is prime for customization and we include the option of a v-carving or the texture toolpath. This project is also a good example of design iteration. The first version was not exactly right, learnings were taken from it and the next one was even better. It’s important to remember that some projects are a journey with lots to learn along the way!
