Tattletail Theories: Was Mama Really Banished? 😱

Ever wonder if Mama was REALLY banished at the end of Tattletail. What do the eggs have to do with keeping her away? In this episode of Tattletail Theories, this is explained and more! ** Was Mama Truly Banished? ** We've seen that during the bad ending, destroying the VHS tape does not banish Mama. Why could this be? If we had done everything right up until that point, everything should have been ok! The answer could lie in the eggs, which is what triggers the good ending of Tattletail, but what significance do they have? This theory suggests that Mama actually sees the eggs as her children, too. As her purpose is to find every last one of the baby tattletails, having collected the five that come to banish her and leaving Easter eggs all over the house, it is possible that she just can't be banished until her quest is complete. In the good ending, her remaining banished might be a sign that you completed her job for her, but that poses another question.. ** Can Mama Be Brought Back? ** Remember that it is Christmas time, and kids everywhere will be opening up their boxes containing their very own Baby Tattletails. What if the actual act of opening these boxes and removing the Tattletails from them "un-banishes", or brings back, Mama? Going back to what we said about the eggs, as long as we get all of the collectables, Mama's soul should remain successfully banished. After all, the Tattletail would not happily jump outside of its box and thank you if Mama was still running around trying to jumpscare you (or worse)! What do you think?
