A Kentucky Treasure The J D Crowe Story

This is a chronological documentary of the life of J.D. Crowe. I produced/directed & edited this documentary in 2008. It includes interviews from many notable bluegrass and country music performers who were all extremely anxious to be a part of the project. It also features numerous video clips from J.D.'s career. I had known J.D. since I worked with him in the studios of KET in 1975 when we did the now famous half hour programs with he and the New South who were just winding up their seven year run at the Holiday Inn North in Lexington, KY. J.D. and I became great friends which lasted until his death. Hope you enjoy the video.
