FL’s unethical pet gator law

In Florida, to legally keep an alligator under 4ft as a personal pet in your house, you must obtain a Permit to Possess Class II Wildlife for Personal Use (PPL) from the Florida Fish and Wildlife Conservation Commission (FWC). Alligators are classified as Class II wildlife, which includes species that can pose a danger to humans and require substantial experience to handle safely. I think this ruling to allow them to be kept as personal pets is unethical and unsafe. Gabby and I discuss the issue in detail.
