From Hike & Horseback to Art Walk: Just Us and the View (Tagaytay Hills, Toledo x Vivace Art Cafe)

Still riding the high from our spontaneous Toledo escape — a day that turned into another core memory with my special someone. After our first trip together in Oslob for vlog #13, we promised to do it again. And we did. This time, we chased Tagaytay Hills. The view up there just makes you breathe. Calm, quiet, the kind of unwind you don’t get in the city. We had a local dog guide us like our own little tour buddy, and I even rode a horse for the first time — thanks to our kuya rider who was so funny and accommodating, he basically carried the whole mood to the top. Then came the plot twist: a very sudden, very necessary ligo at the barangay’s local bathroom in Toledo just to freshen up. Hair still damp, we headed straight to our next stop — Vivace Art Cafe at SM Seaside Cebu, the one I’ve been dying to try. We got lost in all the art, appreciated every corner, and just enjoyed being present with each other. And yes, we’re never forgetting the two times free coffee — one for entering, one for exiting. Peak romance. Funny thing: you won’t see much of the cafe in the vlog because… both our phones died mid-moment. But maybe that’s the point. Some memories aren’t meant to be captured, just felt. Just like “Tadhana”, that day reminded me that some people are worth every wrong turn and detour. And like “Multo”, even when the cameras are off and the phones are dead, the feeling lingers — haunting in the best way. To more firsts, to getting lost, to calm hills, art-filled cafes, and to us.
