So muss man den Blauregen im Sommer schneiden | James der Gärtner

The wisteria (Wisteria sinensis) is also known as glycine or wisteria. No Rosamunde Pilcher fairy tale is complete without its dreamy clusters of blossoms hanging in masses from pergolas and trellises. The wisteria is an impressive climber, but it has a mind of its own – without pruning, it often barely flowers and simply becomes too large. Especially when it twines around gutters, it can practically strangle them. In this video, I'll show you how to prune it in summer. A second pruning is then done in winter! By the way, it also comes in white – also very beautiful! James is a gardener you couldn't have invented better! No wonder: James Foggin was born in the cradle of gardening – in England, on the Wirral Peninsula. He studied history and later ornamental horticulture in Freiburg. He worked in renowned nurseries, gardens, and rose gardens – as head gardener and estate manager. He is particularly knowledgeable about roses. In his free time, he acts in the theater, because James is also an actor! His comedic talent is astounding. The best part: James can even laugh at himself! No other gardener conveys gardening tips and tricks as entertainingly as he does – even those who dislike gardening are royally amused! The setting for his horticultural activities is usually the Royal Garden Academy in Berlin-Dahlem. Here, James Foggin also teaches gardening courses and leads garden tours in his homeland. At the Royal Garden Academy, he finds everything his gardener's heart desires. Here, he has the opportunity to truly be James the Gardener!
