BICEP TEAR COMEBACK: My 7 Months Calisthenics Progress Recap
Hey everyone! In this video you will see my journey from the day I tore my distal bicep tendon (18/10/24) to my current training status (18/05/25). Seven challenging months have passed, I feel like I have done some decent progress, enough to deserve a video, yet there is still much to be done. At this point, I will work on regaining strenght in straight & bent arm horizontal push (planche press & push up). Since my injury, my main focus has been to come back stronger but also safe and sound. I have cautiously planned every step forward so that every new progression would feel doable and "subthreshold". I believe this method has allowed me to progress slowly, yet steadily. This video is not only a testimonial to what I consider a personal success, rather I wish to provide some useful content and information that can be applied in case of injury. What exercises am I supposed to do? What stretching exercises can I do? When can I start doing push ups? etc. I promised myself not to create a giga-wall of text in the description but I want to end this with a call to all people who have undergone, are experiencing or will undergo anything similar and are in need of inspiration and motivation to look forward despite the pain and ill fortune.
