Abandoned 1960 Volvo PV 544 First Start - Daily Driver Project (Part 6)

In this video, I finally get the 1960 Volvo PV 544 started for the first time. After completely rebuilding the dual SU HS6 carburetors in the previous episode, I felt the car was ready to fire back up after a few more tasks. In this video we go over the baseline adjustments of the carburetor to get the engine running, an oil change, a coolant check, ignition setup (distributor, plugs, cables, cap and rotor), and setting up the fuel line. I also cover how to wire up the engine to run. Repeat these steps on any pre 1974 Volvo if you are looking to bring an old Volvo back to life.
