Kofukuji, a large temple counted as one of the seven great temples in Kansai, is located 5 minutes from Kintetsu Nara Station, and is adjacent to Nara's famous tourist attractions Deer Park and Todaiji Temple. There are 12 Japanese national treasures here, including the five-storied pagoda, bronze hall, northern hall, three-story pagoda, and the National Treasure House. Among them, the five-storied pagoda is the second tallest in Japan with a height of 51 m and is a symbol of Kofuku-ji Temple.
