Grandfather Teachings with Elder Hazel: Honesty
The Elders say that when you are honest, and have nothing to hide or to be ashamed of, your spirit is the size of the Sabe. Long ago there was a giant called Sabe (Sasquatch) who walked among the people to remind them to be honest to the laws of the Creator, to be honest with themselves and with each other. The highest honour that can be bestowed upon an individual is the saying "There walks an honest person." Elder Hazel speaks about honesty and shares a story about how it feels to be dishonest and how good a young boy felt after he told the truth. #IndigenousCulture --- Brought to you by the Saskatchewan Teachers' Federation as part of the Traditional Knowledge Keepers Series.
