From multiple airings of "Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles," plus an episode of "Transformers." Tape 7 of 9 in the big New York Tape Adventure! And here is the second TMNT 1987 tape that came from this lot. The labelling that the eBay listing showed was a lot cleaner than the first TMNT tape that I showed off in the last video. This is what got me excited to bid on this lot. Just how clear and legible the title of the contents were written out... If you were in my position when this auction was going on, you would be just as excited as I was when I won them! My second favorite tape in this lot, and my third favorite tape overall in my collection (next to the 11-18-1995 Cartoon Network tape, of course). Again, it's more the fact that I had my expectations super low for this lot of tapes that really made me get out of my seat after viewing the contents of these literal time capsules. Also, note at 49:03 that there is some Scooby-Doo stuff that is skipped out entirely. That's because this contains footage of a station that is from another state entirely. The footage that the Scooby-Doo episode comes from is TV station WSBK-TV 38 in Boston, MA... yes, that really caught me off guard the first time I saw that station ID in-between the show. Maybe I'll include that as a bonus video for later on, who knows! With this tape, it was much more difficult to pinpoint dates for all of the programs, as it appears that the recorder was randomly recording TMNT on any given Sunday morning they chose, plus they decided to include a Transformers episode and a Scooby-Doo episode from a completely different station to make the wrench that was already thrown even harder to come off.
