He grew up kicking a ball in a 'paddock', like thousands of his generation. Always imbued with that street football, of a mischievous boy, he became a professional footballer. First in Argentina and then, in a long period at Espanyol. He admits that he always dreamed of making the step to Europe and he arrived here thanks to Bielsa, the last coach he had at Vélez. At Espanyol he did not score as many goals as he would have liked, but some were incredibly relevant. Today, completely removed from the playing fields, he is a successful businessman at the head of a chain of restaurants in Barcelona. However, he remembers his footballing past with pride and recalls a handful of delicious anecdotes. Like, for example, that he had to celebrate his wedding at 11pm because there was a night match against Boca that day.
