Fr Terrance gives the homily at Bloomington, IN on Mar 03 on how as Christians we are all constantly in spiritual battle, from which we should never rest. Three signs enable us to gauge how well we are doing in this battle: 1) What do we say? Do we speak words that build others up or tear them down? 2) Are we focused on other's faults or our own? We need to focus on correcting our own faults first and foremost. Only when we do this, we will be able to help others. 3) Do I respond gracefully to life's difficulties that test my faith. We should count it nothing but joy when we suffer. This becomes possible when we unite our sufferings with Christ's and in turn this unites us with Him all the more and thus advance in our battle against vices. Ave Maria!
