The Toyota HiLux has been Australia’s best-selling vehicle for five years straight. Over that period, there have been about 200,000 of these utes sold. But they aren’t always being sold to tradies or adventurers. A lot of these dual cab utes are being bought as dual-purpose vehicles for family duties as well as work purposes. There are tax incentives, and they also hit hard on the desirability scale. So does the Toyota HiLux 2021 model make sense as a family vehicle?
