Greetings and welcome back to The H Channel! Established in 2019, Kairos Agriculture envisions to be the leading chemical-free integrated farm in Asia and the role model for young people to participate in agriculture through smart farming as a way to increase and diversify Malaysia’s farm exports. Kairos Agriculture’s first Smart Vanilla Farm in Malaysia sits on 6-acre in Permatang Pauh Agro-Park and Integrated Eco-Farm in Penang. The farm adopts Agriculture 4.0 technologies including the Internet Of Things (IOT), Big Data, AI and Machine Learning. To better protect the farm against changes to export markets, the weather and unforeseeable challenges, vanilla is grown as the anchor crop, alongside other vegetables, herbs, and spices. The farm also uses aquaponics and a full ecosystem of microbes, enzymes, and vermicompost (worms).
