Today we're heading to the famous Adršpach-Teplice Rocks Park in the Czech Republic. We walked among the enormous cliffs, walked around the lake, and spent almost four hours in the park. This place had long been on our list and was definitely worth a visit. After the walk, we headed back to the hotel, and the next day we continued on. We stopped for groceries along the way and then headed to Prague. We'll tell you about Prague in the next video. The history of the Adršpach Rocks began millions of years ago. Once upon a time, an ancient sea occupied the site of today's cliffs. Layers of sand gradually accumulated at its bottom, eventually turning into sandstone. Then nature took over: wind, water, frost, and temperature fluctuations eroded and shaped the rock over millions of years, creating amazing rock towers, walls, gorges, and labyrinths. Some cliffs reach heights of over 80 meters. For a long time, these places remained difficult to access and almost unknown. Interest in them began to grow in the 18th century, when a large forest fire revealed rock formations hidden among the forests. Travelers, artists, and members of European nobility began to flock here. Today, the Adršpach Rocks are considered one of the most impressive natural monuments in the Czech Republic. Hiking trails abound, and many of the rocks have earned their own names due to their unusual appearance. Every year, this place attracts hundreds of thousands of tourists eager to see one of Europe's most beautiful stone cities. Today we visit the famous Adršpach-Teplice Rocks in the Czech Republic. We spent almost four hours exploring the rock formations, walking around the lake and enjoying the incredible scenery. After the hike, we checked into our hotel, and the next day we continued our journey to Prague. Prague will be featured in the next episode.
