Point360Challenge 16k Training Swim - 24.05.2026

More open water swim training for my Point360Challenge over the summer months which is attempting to swim round the Point peninsula (approx 18 miles - link below) whilst others in the team are doing different activities, all to raise money for The Leanne Fund. On the Broadbay side of the Braighe, a mix of having to swim around the outside of the big reef due to the low tide until it came in far enough so I could swim on the inside of the reef. Plodded along and managed 16k before getting out. Spotted an old wheel that's obviously been there for a while and on the return leg of my last lap, I noticed a fish jumping quite high out of the sea.
