Milan, Italy. 13x O&K Fiam Escalator ride at Milano Lancetti suburban railway station

We take a POV ride on 13 out of 16 1996 O&K Escalators (branded as O&K Fiam escalators) at the Milano Lancetti Suburban railway Station in Milan, Italy. This is one of the original 4 stations on the line that opened in 1997. Also in this video you’ll see a couple of the double deck trains as they’re departing. Enjoy! Thanks! 😎 A BIG THANK YOU TO EVERYONE ALREADY SUBSCRIBED!! 🤩 **This is a very nice station. It is part of the suburban railway however in the central areas the Milan Metro tickets work for it. The station has 16x escalators - but one on each island platform and to the exit were switched off at the time of my visit. The other original Stations are Milano Repubblica, Pta Garibaldi and PTA Venezia - I visited them all. There were some more stations added later in 2002 an 2004 that used Thyssen escalators too. *The escalators here are the type RTV-HD-99S, built in the Hattingen, Germany factory. They use the lighter of the heavy duty drives as they’re not the RTV-HD-999s, which was geared differently. The other stations use a mix of these and RTV-HD-99GL types (same drive just glass balustrades). Some are branded O&K Fiam, some are branded O&K Sabiem. Both were Italian brands that O&K used to distribute their own products into the Italian market. Now all these companies were bought out by KONE. There are some Kone escalators on the metro network too. In Italian 🇮🇹 the word for escalator is Scala Mobile
