[Tetris 99] the longest lobby that ever happened so far (over 18-minutes match, 784 lines cleared)

this gets higher priority because of how fucked up that game was. this was supposed to be part of a sniping video uploaded in the future, but i decided to exclude this game from it, and upload it now instead. a standard game lasts 6~8 minutes, and can go up to 10 when it's quite intense. but this is something no one would ever have imagined. a whole 18-minutes game of people throwing lines at each other. and the gimmick they added makes it even more scarier... margin time has been discovered last may. basically, after a certain time, your attacks send more damage (ONLY applies when you send lines to opponents, NOT when you defend yourself from incoming attacks). according to amemiya's chat, margin time works this way: starts at 10 minutes increases every 20 seconds caps after 14 minutes (max margin time) that means after 14 minutes, anyone will send a ridiculous amount of lines REGARDLESS of the number of badges they have. you can also have a glimpse of it by looking at the size of the attacks i'm sending. can you imagine late-game where everyone can only attack each other with 12-lines attacks? stalling is mandatory to limit lines received lol you rarely get to reach margin time though. guess what? you likely only reach it when sniping amemiya! you definitely get why i enjoy doing so. :')
