Join me on a quick, destressing, day-trip adventure to historic Hanovertown in Hanover County not too far from the city of Mechanicsville, VA. There appears to be some pretty interesting Civil War history there worth exploring! Along the way, we'll check out another beautiful rural country road called River Rd. and get some needed Back Road Therapy! Then, on the way back home we'll stop at a little town called Aylett and take in a spectacular view of the Mataponi river to cap things off.
