What is Feature Class? - GIS Vector Data Theory (8)
"Feature Class" can be used in two different ways in GIS. There is a "broad" meaning of the term and a "narrow" meaning of the term. Whenever we are creating GIS datasets, we want to organize our features into feature classes in the broad sense to facilitate our analysis.
