Himmelsvorschau für Astrofotografen März 2026 // Bekanntgabe des Dwarf3 GiveAway

The March 2026 sky preview begins with the announcement of the winner of the Dwarf3 Smart Telescope contest. One contestant out of 51 has been selected – and right at the beginning of the video, I'll reveal who will be the lucky recipient of the Dwarf3. March officially kicks off galaxy season. There will actually be only one emission nebula, or planetary nebula, among all the galaxies. The constellation Leo now dominates the night sky, and it's precisely there that you'll find classics like the Leo Triplet, the dwarf galaxy Leo I, and M95 and M96. The constellation Ursa Major also boasts some fantastic galaxies, though these tend to be rather small. The object of the month is Messier 106. This galaxy has a fascinating history of discovery – and its core is exceptionally interesting from an astrophysical perspective. The selection is once again quite diverse, so even astrophotographers with smaller telescopes or even smart telescopes can find their target.
