Trip Report - Eurostar London to Amsterdam

I'd booked a flight departing from Amsterdam so needed to get there to connect... I could have flown but it was a great opportunity to try out the Eurostar service from London to Amsterdam. I live in Folkestone which is where the Channel Tunnel goes underground and its been a major influence on my town over the last 30 years... I used to be able to travel to Ashford and get on a Eurostar train there, but since the pandemic and Brexit that option has been shut off, meaning I now have to travel 65 miles up the line to St Pancras to catch the Eurostar train which then brings me the 65 miles back down the line to enter the tunnel, right back where I started... I travelled in Standard Premier class and this is my review of that experience!
