This is the seventh and final episode of our 3-night, 4-day trip to Kumamoto, a little trip to Miyazaki and Oita, June 2024. We departed Kyukamura Minamiaso and headed from Kumamoto Prefecture to Takachiho Gorge in Miyazaki Prefecture. Takachiho, a place associated with Japanese mythology, is a place I've always wanted to visit. We reserved a rental boat in advance and enjoyed the breathtaking view of Manai Falls, one of Japan's 100 best waterfalls, from Takachiho Gorge! We strolled through the gorge on the Takachiho Gorge Promenade and also visited Takachiho Shrine. After sightseeing in Takachiho, we took the Higashi Kyushu Expressway to Miyazaki Bougainvillea Airport. Our video also includes footage of the airport's lounges and restaurants.
