BUZZ CUTS: PROS AND CONS / What to Consider Before Getting a Buzz Cut / Should I Get a Buzz Cut?

I’ve buzzed my hair MANY times over the years! I know what it’s like to buzz my hair and deal with all of the pros and cons of having a buzz cut! I’ve experienced the time and money savings; assumptions and judgements from others; and the freedom that comes with not having to style my hair daily. I’ve learned a lot about the ups and downs of having a buzz cut after going from long hair to buzz cut to long hair and back again. I share all of the pros and cons to consider before shaving your head. Personally, I love a good buzz cut! However, a buzz cut isn’t the look that everyone wants to rock and that’s ok. There are many pros and cons to consider before shaving your head. I recommend thinking it though and considering the reasons to get a buzz cut as well as the reasons NOT to get a buzz cut before going through with it. My list of pros and cons of getting a buzz cut will help you to answer the question, “should I get a buzz cut?” Everyone will have a different perspective and reaction to getting a buzz cut. For me, it’s empowering and fun! I encourage you to do what you want with your hair whether it’s buzzing it all off, growing it down to your toes, or anything in between.
