Saigon is unique to me, even though I won't stay in the same hotel given the many possibilities. Though overpowering, its size is charming. The true journey begins as I head to Da Nang, expecting to escape the city to explore beaches and motorbikes in the countryside. The airline staff handled my last-minute booking changes smoothly, making my Saigon-Da Nang flight effortless. Vietnam's coffee and food have made my journey more enjoyable and healthy. This journey is both exploratory and a search for teaching possibilities. A trained teacher could thrive in Vietnam's less regulated but developing educational sector compared to China. Move to Da Nang means embracing rural peace instead of urban exploration. Mid-range appeal and considerable upgrades made the Avatar Hotel in Da Nang a spacious haven to start this leg of the adventure. Despite its growth, Da Nang is smaller than Saigon and has considerable investments. With its beautiful beaches and growing neighborhoods, this coastal city offers relaxation and adventure. Every aspect of Da Nang beckons exploration, from cheap restaurants to easy motorbike rentals. Da Nang's appeal goes beyond its natural beauty and frenetic building promising a bright future. The city's growing character, reminiscent of California beach villages, offers a compelling blend of leisure and active lifestyle activities, from surfing and hiking to cultural immersion. My coastal adventures and the lively cafes and restaurants underscore the inexpensive cost of living here.
