My shot of the implosion of this Las Vegas landmark. I was able to get into the press only area because of my job at the time. Luckier still, my mom happened to be in town visiting then as well. The family that watches stuff get blow'd up together.....? As far as I can tell on youtube, this is the only complete uncut shot with ambient sound from this angle of the entire event... from the beginning of the fireworks until the dust cloud enveloped us. I wish I had been better prepared for the dust... for anyone who has never experienced that, it really is no joke.
