Walking in Earl's Court, Kensington & Chelsea, and their mews.

This is a walk around Kensington & Chelsea concentrating on the new houses of the area. Kensington & Chelsea are the traditionally rich, well to-do area of London, full of grand old houses and mansions. In the old days these wealthy houses are full of the servants to service them. The masters and family will live in the main area of the house while the house servants will either live down in the basement, where the kitchen is located or at the top of the house where the roof is located. But at the back of these houses are the stables for horses and grooms to live. Nowadays, there are no more horses and grooms so these stables have been turned into expensive mew houses. Thus whenever, you see a set of mews, it means they were horse/animal stables originally. This walk will go through many of these mews. Don't forget to like, share, and subscribe to my channel.
