ZEP POLISH: PROTECTING PATINA ON A 1961 FORD FALCON WAGON

We used Zep Floor Polish on a camper we renovated YEARS ago. We've since sold that camper, but it looked great a few years after we sold it. We needed to repair the wagon because it had a few rust holes coming through. So I was faced with the dilemma.. can I actually match the patina. We had a few options, an oil, Poppy's Patina, or a satin clear coat. We cannot use Poppy's because you're not supposed to use that over spray paint. Tony didn't want to satin clear it because he thinks he gets too many streaks in it. And an oil wasn't an option because it would be too much of a pain if he DID want to satin clear it. And this YouTube Video on Ugly Truck Experience:    • $25 Patina CLEAR COAT!! - Easy DIY LONGLAS...   A few tips: ⚙️ Clean the surface of the vehicle well. I used 1/3c. CLR and 2/3c Water and scrubbed it down with fine steel wool. Then I washed it with dawn dish soap (I didn't want any oils or reactions from car wash soap) ⚙️Put Zep on in a cool, shaded place. It was too warm and the roof got a streak on it for my last coat. ⚙️ Wait the recommended time in between coats (30min) Overall I'm happy with this.
