A Helm of a Time: My Review of ShockTec Gel & Air2Gel Padding
You loved my video about padding a medieval helmet for SCA combat. I revisit this topic, but this time I up the stakes with my long-awaited shipment of Shocktec Gel and Air2Gel padding. Hmm... it kind of looks like lemon jello! But don't be fooled, this is no flavored gelatin treat! This is high-tech, state-of-the-art motion cancelling technology. That's what their website says, anyway. Join me as I struggle to find the best way to cram all that jiggly goodness into my visored bascinet, and wind up with padding that I can only describe as "foomfy."
