Let's imagine the impossible: in February 1945, Red Army assault groups receive ten BMPT Terminator tanks to clear the streets of Budapest. Will they transform the bloody urban assault into a methodical operation—or will even a vehicle designed for street combat be stymied by the reality of a ruined city and desperate resistance? In this video, we analyze the scenario step by step: how the Terminator fundamentally differs from tanks and self-propelled guns of 1945 in urban combat, how its twin automatic cannons, grenade launchers, and ATGMs work against buildings, barricades, fortified basements, and firing points on upper floors. We assess how ten vehicles are integrated into assault groups and how the tactics of street fighting change: infantry support, suppression of Panzerfaust troops, firing at embrasures and counterattacking armored vehicles.
