41 years ago the people living on a small peninsula got independence from the British Empire. Those people are called Qataris and their country is Qatar. Qatar might be a small peninsula but thanks to their oil industry Qatar is one of the richest countries in the world. With their amazing sense of hospitality the Qataris are welcoming the entire continent of Asia to celebrate their 40th birthday at the 2011 Asian Cup.
