On June 6th and 7th, 2026, the 44th anniversary of the Emilio Carranza Fish Market, better known as the Morelos Market, was celebrated in Mexico City. We observed many vendors offering significant discounts and making a great effort to bring in excellent species, many of which I personally had never seen before. I toured several of these stalls, where we encountered very exotic and rare fish, which we were able to document with the channel's cameras. I should also mention that while some stalls didn't offer discounts, with a minimum purchase of $500 or $1000 pesos, they were giving away raffle tickets for aquariums, fish, or accessories—something you rarely see, but which was a highlight of this anniversary celebration. I also want to mention that there were a huge crowd, and the aisles were packed the entire time.
