I Will Fail Counseling | 2 Samuel 15:29-37 29 Zadok and Abiathar carried the ark of God back to Jerusalem and remained there. 30 As David went up the way to the Mount of Olives, he covered his head and went barefoot, weeping; and all the people who went with him also covered their heads and wept as they went up. 31 Someone told David, “Ahithophel is among those who have rebelled with Absalom.” David said, “O Lord, I pray that Ahithophel’s counsel be foolish.” 32 When David reached the high place where God was worshiped, Hushai the Arekite came to meet him, torn his clothes and covered his head with dust. 33 David said to him, “If you go out with me, you will be a burden to me.” 34 But if you return to the city and say to Absalom, ‘O king, I am your servant; I was once your father’s servant, and now I am your servant,’ then you [will be] for me "I will thwart the counsel of Ahithophel." 35 "Are not the two priests, Zadok and Abiathar, there with you? Whatever you hear in the king's palace, tell the two priests, Zadok and Abiathar." 36 "Their two sons, Ahimaaz of Zadok and Jonathan of Abiathar, are there with them.
