If your shin bone can’t move forward, you won’t be able to get enough depth in your squats. By using a squat wedge, you create artificial ankle dorsiflexion and it allows your shins to move forward so you can squat deeper. — More Quads Activation — Because your knees go further forward using a squat wedge, you’ll activate more of the quads muscles. This is similar to a sissy squat where your knees go past your toes. — Individual Squat Wedges vs Fixed Width Slant Boards — Individual squat wedges allow you to change the width of your stance and also give you the option to externally rotate your hips. With a fixed slant board you’re stuck with the width of the board. If you try to externally rotate your hips with a fixed width board, you put more weight on the inside of your feet which causes your knee to go inward. - Specs - Material: Steel Weight capacity: 1000 lbs Length: 13.7" Width: 7" Height: 4.7" - Features - Diamond plated top for better grip Rubber bumpers to prevent shifting/slipping Resistance band slot for added resistance while exercising Handle in the back
