Platinum Jubilee Gala Weekend - Beer Heights Light Railway - 02/06/2022

2nd - 4th June 2022 saw the Beer Heights Light Railway celebrate the Her Majesty The Queen's Platinum Jubilee with a special gala weekend featuring all member of the BHLR fleet in action. The event saw an intensive timetable of double headed, triple headed and shuttle services, as well as demonstration goods trains and driver for a fiver. Filmed on a sunny Thursday 2nd June, we see all operational locomotives in action, from various locations around the impressive 1 Mile set-up around the Pecorama site. The day also saw the grand reveal of BHLR veteran Diesel Hydraulic Bo-Bo, No.6 'Jimmy', returning to service after a major overhaul, sporting BHLR Intercity livery scheme.
