Where to Stay in Oslo, Norway | Radisson Blu Plaza Oslo Hotel Review | Hotel Review | w/ Breakfast
During our stay in Oslo, Norway, we stayed at the Radisson Blu Plaza Hotel. This hotel is located directly next to the Oslo Central Train Station, as well as the bus station. It is only a few steps away from the harbor where the Oslo Opera House and Munch Museum stand, so the location is actually pretty good. However, if you want to go to other sights around Oslo, like the Royal Palace or Frogner Park, you will probably have to take some form of transportation. They are just a little too far away for walking. This hotel has several dining options, including the Top Restaurant, which is on the 34th floor and offers some amazing views of the city, the 2nd floor restaurant, which serves breakfast and dinner, and the lobby bar, which has a limited food menu but some great beers and cocktails. We had the free breakfast during our stay, so we took advantage of that each morning in the 2nd floor restaurant. We also had cocktails in the lobby each night. Unfortunately, the Top Bar and Restaurant were closed during our stay. We thought the food and drinks here were very good and of high quality. The room itself was spacious and comfortable, with a big bathroom and plenty of room to spread out during our stay. However, we had some issues with the air conditioning (which did not really work at all). Check out our Hotel Room Tour! For our stay, we ended up paying about 200 USD, or 182 EUR, per night, which was not bad for everything we got. It looks like prices are much higher in the summer, and even lower (sometimes as low as 140 USD per night) in the fall and winter. So, if you are looking for a deal, you might get lucky and find it here. Overall, we would probably rate this stay a 6 out of 10. The hotel was decent, and we would probably stay there again if we had to. Not too bad at all. You can find the hotel website here: Check out our other trips around Norway!
