Can't BELIEVE This Is Our SIDING - Milling Ponderosa Pine Board and Batten On Our HM130 Max Sawmill
In this video, Greg mills up a ponderosa pine log into our board and batten siding for our barn. Some of these pieces are so beautiful that we can't believe this will be our siding. The blueing is fun to discover when you start to mill and open up the log. Can't wait to see how we will arrange it on the barn. ***At the end of the video, Greg teases a bit about something new we have to share about the barn...any guesses? Let us know in the comments! Plus, I'm always curious if you read this description! LOL! Did you know we are building a barn out of wood that we are milling on our own sawmill?! If you haven't followed along with our BARN Build, make sure to check out that series in our playlists. We finished the slab last summer and are on a pause while we mill all of the lumber needed for the barn build. We have A LOT of milling in our future. Here is the video where we share our barn plans. The sawmill cover / sawmill shed is vital to continue milling for our barn build in the winter months, but it will also be a great way to keep out of the sun during the summer months, and of course all of the rain, in between!
