Madalina was 11 years old when she was last seen getting off a school bus in November 2022 before going missing. Tuesday's court session began with jurors watching a 2022 police interrogation video of Palmiter. The day ended with Palmiter taking the stand in his own defense. When court resumed Wednesday, Palmiter continued to answer questions from his defense attorney. After more than a year-and-a-half, the girl is still missing.
