338 Arc vs 8.6 Blackout - With Chattahoochee Munitions CM7S

Guys we have a fun one today - I wanted to breakdown the 338 subsonic show down with the 338 arc and 8.6 blackout. Now I wanted to build myself a custom rifle ages ago when I started this journey, and I ended up getting the Q Fix with free suppressor for cheaper than it was going to cost me to build. Sadly, those days are now gone and MSRP price hikes have made this dream more challenging. However, the folks over at Chattahoochee Munitions are doing the Lord's work with making sure that you can have a subsonic polished 338 based rifle or pistol smoothly! The Cm7S is their in house chassis based on a Remington 700 Platform. They work with Mostek to produce their match grade barrels for this 338 Arc, and use trigger tech R700 Primary triggers to round it out. They removed all my fears around 338 arc and feeding issues, and really knocked this thing out of the park. Full disclosure, this video was sponsored through friends of the channel who wanted to see their rifle get tested (this is their CM7S). I have been talking with Matt at Chattahoochee to ensure that I'm kept honest in this review, but they did not get to alter or change any content just because it could look bad. I did change some opinions inside the video due to the variability of the ammo used which likely led to the poor grouping we saw (looking at you Hornady). All in all - this was a fun experience, and I love anytime we shoot clean gel under highspeed to watch performance. If I were to buying a bolt gun for sub sonic 338 today, I'd probably still go 8.6 personally, but I'd probably get Matt to make me one instead of Kevin at Q. . . Till Next Time.
