The format change of Overwatch 2 from 6v6 to 5v5 has spawned an endless debate. Regardless of which format you prefer, the developers of Overwatch 2 have finally addressed the growing frustration with the solo-tank format after more than a year of complete silence. In this video I will be going over the historical problems with 6v6 and why the format change was made (from a gameplay perspective), how we were able to test 6v6 Overwatch in Overwatch 2 using the Workshop, and what insights I learned from the testing.
