4x KONE RTV-HD 999S Escalator ride at Karlsplatz Stadtbahn station in Essen

The last sub-surface station on this line - one up from Altenessen Mitte here which has 8x of the same escalators:    • 8x KONE RTV-HD 999S Escalator ride at Alte...   This one has just 4x, all from 2001. Exit B the opposite end of the platform just has stairs and a lift. These are really nice but sadly time is running out as escalators are always replaced unnecessarily early here and the 4x similar ones at Kaiser Wilhelm Park were replaced with TKE Victorias in 2024/5.
