Put a small amount of moss (preparation for moss: wash, dry, and make them fluffy) into the roots. There are two methods for watering: spraying water or soaking roots in water. For soaking the roots, I usually let it sit for at least 20 minutes. Pour all the extra water out after the moss gets wet and the roots turn green. Spray fertilizer (I normally use only 1/6 from fertilizer manufacturer’s suggestion) after pouring out the water. Apply fertilizer every other watering time when needed.
