Otwarcie wystawy czasowej „Madonny świata. Oblicza Matki w pastelach Teresy Szczuki”

On May 3rd, the Zamoyski Museum in Kozłówka hosted the "Hail May, Third May!" event. One of the highlights of the program was the opening of the temporary exhibition "Madonnas of the World: Faces of the Mother in Teresa Szczuka's Pastel." The opening was highlighted by a lecture on Marian iconography and the role of copies in art, delivered in the Museum's Theater Room by Professor Urszula Małgorzata Mazurczak. Professor Urszula Mazurczak is a Polish historian of medieval art and a professor of humanities since 2005. From 1993 to 2014, she was the head of the Department of Medieval Art History at the Catholic University of Lublin. From 1995 to 1999, she was the director of the Institute of Art History at the Catholic University of Lublin. We invite you to watch a report from this unique event.
