After getting my shoes shined in the good old Showa culture, I enjoyed breakfast with a legend at the Showa Cafe Royal. I swooned over the precious stories that Chiba, the legendary shoe shiner, told in the media for the first time. Frank Ani Stand in Yurakucho! Getting myself in shape before polishing the legend. Chiba, who looks so good in his hunting cap and bow tie, is so natural and legendary that I swooned! My Edward Green sparkled like CG right before my eyes. It was a craftsmanship that felt like magic. It's a shocking special polish that makes it hard to believe the shoes are the same after the Chiba Special and before polishing. The technique of removing dirt with alcohol, creating a solid base, and creating a shine with particles of 0.03 or less is just too high level. I was also happy to hear this valuable story for the first time in the media in my 21 years of shoe polishing! Showa Cafe Royal in the basement of Tokyo Transportation Center is a Showa spot that you can't miss after shoe polishing. Here, I took a break with Chiba-san for breakfast. Spending Showa time with Chiba-san like this is the best and the best. Soft toast and boiled egg. This is the Royal breakfast. We had a fun time listening to the behind-the-scenes stories from his 21 years of shoe polishing that I can't write here. But it's a shame that that story was cut from the video.
